The M seems to be a great luxury car choice with terrific value. Why don't you see many Ms on the road? I don't get it...Lots of Audis, Bimmers, E350s, even plenty of TLs, but very few Ms??Am I missing something or are M owners just "smarter than the average bear"

 

Well the M isn't heavily advertised and suffers from name recognition. As a M owner I don't understand people in that price market not looking .... no it doesn't have the "snob" factor as BMW and Audi is not far behind. There was a Lexus commercial not too long ago with 4-5 luxery cars on these lifts. As the announcer started listing standard features the cars stopped rising until just the Lexus was left. As I listened, I know why the M wasn't included, had all the features listed and then some and I bet a lot cheaper.

Frankly I like not being part of the "common place" with cars.

 

M's are great values but the exterior needs some refreshening. I think more people are just looking at the other makes out there and they are going towards a sporty appeal. Infiniti never did hit their marketing segments properly, especially Almatti you see more 5-series and E-class Mercedes around our neighborhoods 50:1 against the M's

 

In fact I like this fact - the car is relatively rare . And this is one of the reasons I choose the M56X . I came across a very low mileage one that has every single option available in the price list . For long time I was thinking what car to get ,but I was always afraid to attract too much attention . If I have a Porsche,Mercedes,BMW or Lexus ...I personally won't feel comfortable as an young executive parking in front of the office ... I don't want that kind of attention . So I'm very happy with the M . And I'm Planning of getting some Rays wheels and BBK because in 2011 the M56xS was not available and that's the only package I don't have -still have the Aero kit thought :-)

 

Perhaps due to the revived Pull Ahead Program on June 7th, suddenly, I've seen more Ms on the road. At least 4 or 5 in the last 2 days.

I got mine this Wednesday on the 26th.......I can't take my eyes off it !!! Love it so Far!!!. It is a totally different feeling picking, driving the new car home, then in June 2010 when I picked up the then new 2010 G37x..
