no that was the same renedition of the 4-door based supercar for Infiniti, which was what the magazine photo in the previous page in this thread showed.

Infiniti's new M will look nice and the new interior is supposed to be the best of the best.

Supposedly this is a sketch based on a disguised Nissan Fuga/Infiniti M that was spotted driving around Arizona.

Kenny, do you know anything about a V8 model? It looks as if Infiniti killed both the "M50" and "M56" trademarks. The only one that is still active is "M45".

The "M37" moniker has been trademarked and is still active. "Q56" is also active.

I have a feeling they're putting in that motor from FX50 in the new M50 plus the widely used Akebonos. And I hope they keep the weight down close to 4000lbs... although I know it's not gonna happen.

You'd think...but I've heard from more than one unconfirmed sources that the V8 will be 5.6L. I also heard a rumor that upon refresh, the FX50 will turn into FX56. Again, I can't confirm.

Nah, Infiniti trademarked the name M50 a while ago. They have not trademarked M56 or FX56. Besides, that's a truck engine and doesn't live up to the "sporty" high revving nature of the current Infiniti engines.

As far as I can tell, both trademarks are "dead".

I was trying to get Kenny (DaMayor) to enlighten us but that is a no go. lol. Infiniti is probably waiting until the last second to re-register this vehicle. It isn't like another automaker is going to rush in and trademark M50.

It seems that Infiniti had registered, but abandoned, M40, M50 and M60. However, last month they finalized registration of "Infiniti M".

Here's the latest teaser.

JohnEnglish, you're probably right about the 5.0L. It only seems logical and in tune to what Infiniti has been doing until now.
