Well I don't see much significant changes except the bumper, car looks like a twin to the older model.

I agree, love my M45 but this looks great. They need to kick up the hp though and torque. My g37 coupe has more hp not as much torque it seems though. I would like my M45 to be about 12 inches longer - more trunk and back seat room and abo9ut 75-100 more hp. I hear the new Q in a couple of years is going to be a super car, something like an Aston Martin/masareti

my father is thinking about purchasing an m 35x or m45 but he isnt so happy that the m45 doesnt have an awd model. I notice a difference but not much should i hold him off or should i just let him get a good deal on it while he can. Im telling him to get the deal while he can

Or is there a big change?

Infiniti Announces Pricing on 2008 M35 and M45 Sedans [Nov. 5, 07]

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 5, 2007) – Infiniti today announced pricing on the 2008 Infiniti M, which is on sale now at Infiniti retailers nationwide. The Infiniti M receives major upgrades for 2008 that include the first-ever availability of Infiniti’s intelligent ATTESAä E-TS all-wheel drive system on the V8-powered M45. The new model, designated M45x, joins the M35x to provide buyers with two choices in all-climate AWD performance. The 2008 Infiniti M is also offered in two rear-wheel drive models, the Infiniti M35 and Infiniti M45.

The M45 and new M45x offer a 325-horsepower 4.5-liter aluminum-alloy DOHC V8, while the M35 and M35x feature the award-winning VQ-series 3.5–liter V6, tuned for the M to produce 275 horsepower. Both engines are mated to a standard 5-speed automatic transmission with performance shifter and manual shift mode with downshift rev matching.

Other enhancements for 2008 include revised interior and exterior styling and added luxury amenities and technologies, including the production debut of Infiniti’s newest safety technology, the Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) system. For 2008, previous M Sport models have been replaced by an available Sport Package, which includes unique exterior and interior styling, Rear Active Steer (RAS) and 19-inch wheels and tires. The previous M35 Journey Package equipment, including climate controlled seats and Xenon/AFS headlights, are now standard on the 2008 M35.

The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starts at $43,050 for the Infiniti M35 and $44,800 for the Infiniti M35x all-wheel drive. The 2008 M45 is priced at $49,350, while the M45x all-wheel drive model is $51,850.

The Infiniti M’s exterior enhancements for 2008 include revised front and rear fascia, grille, rear fender panels, rear decklid and taillight design, new chrome accents and new standard 18-inch and available 19-inch sport aluminum-alloy wheels. There are six new exterior colors (out of an available eight). There is also greater visual differentiation between the Sport Package-equipped models and non-Sport Package models.

Inside, enhancements include new standard Rosewood trim, white and violet instrument panel and interior lighting, electroluminescent Fine Vision Meters, new aluminum trim on the Sport Package and a revised Stone interior color. The new 2008 Infiniti M includes standard XMâ Satellite Radio (requires XM® subscription, sold separately), Bluetoothâ Hands-free Phone System and Infiniti Information Display with 7-inch LCD screen and easy-to-use controls, Infiniti voice recognition.

Available advanced technology features include an upgraded Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System with touch-screen, XM NavTraffic® (requires active XM® subscription, sold separately), 9.3GB Music Box hard drive for digital music storage and playback and iPod® connectivity, and a RearView Monitor system.

The 2008 Infiniti M is offered with a number of available equipment packages, including the Advanced Technology Package, Premium Package, Sport Package, Technology Package, Mobile Entertainment System, Wood Interior Trim and Xenon/AFS Package (M35x only, standard on M35, M45 and M45x).

Full pricing and option information is available on the attached sheets.

Infiniti offers a full-line of luxury performance automobiles, including the G sports coupe and sedan, the M luxury performance sedan, FX premium crossover SUV, QX full-size luxury SUV, and the EX personal luxury crossover, which goes on sale in December. More information about Infiniti and its total ownership experience can be found at Infiniti.com.
