knock

anyone else hear a knocking sound from their front right area? It occurs after you make a left turn and then straighten the steering wheel. I have had it to the dealer, but they claim that they all do that. I find it hard to believe that this noise is normal (especially since it just showed up) and would only occur on such a specific movement of the car.

Need more details, Omi.

Can you hear it sitting in the car, and is it passenger side front, and high pitched knock or dull thud?

I've not noticed anything in mine, but then I don't 'toss' it around much (if in fact that's what you need to do to get the sound)

If I know what and where to listen, I'll try to duplicate the issue.

Colin.

You can hear it sitting in the car while you make a left turn and then straighten the wheel. This is while going slow (maybe 10mph) when I am driving through my neighborhood, but I have noticed it in parking lots, etc as well. It is a high pitched knock and it comes from the passenger side front.

Yes, it's nice having something more economical for general use. My Civic isn't as 'miserly' as your Prius, I'm sure, but it's not bad...

Prius is hard to fault for gas mileage. I have the Dodge Magnum if I need to haul anything around, but don't want it rained on. That HEMI is nice if you want to "punch" it now and again. And their 4cylinder off/on technology is nice too for when you hit the hiway and want a little better gas mileage.
