I have an 05 FX35, and it has the standard automatic shifter that's found in the FX, G35 coupe/sedan, etc. It's basically a stick shifter with no shift boot.

In the redesign(s) for 06, most if not all of the Infiniti automatic models now come with a leather shift boot around the automatic shifter. Does anyone know if one of these shift boots can be retrofit over the old shifter? I love the rest of the car, but IMO the shift-booted automatic looks much nicer.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
