Can anyone tell me what is the difference in color between the Liquid Platinum and the Sheer Platinum? If anyone has comparison pics, that would be amazing.

Liquid Platinum is a light metallic silver found on both the 35 and 45. Sheer platinum is a light silver found only on the 45. Sheer platinum is even lighter or more white and liquid platinum.

sheer platinum is available on fx35's w/ sport packages for an extra cost option for 2008. you are right it used to be only on fx45's.

i have a few shots but it's a lot more metalllic and brigther colored silver than the liquid platinum

 

Sheer platinum is a beautiful color. If I could have gotten it on my G, I would have, and this comes from someone who hates silver cars. I love the sheer platinum.

no it's a very bright silver.... in person side by side you'll really see a lot more metallic in the sheer platinum color over the liquid platinum. the liquid platinum looks metallic in the sunlight but the sheer platinum you can see the flakes are a lot smaller and are about 3 times more noticeable
