EX37 Mirror with no compass
EX37 Mirror with no compass
Recently picked up an EX37 as my winter DD. Love most things about it but have a few questions as things are a bit different from my G37. My G37 has a compass in the mirror... the EX does not. The EX is the Journey with the tech package (no Nav) so I am baffled that it does not have a compass display. I have seen other Infiniti mirrors that have the compass readout... if I were to get one do you think it would work? I'm just not sure where the sensor is. If it is in the mirror it should work... if it is located elsewhere I might be out of luck.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

The compass "sensor" is integrated within the mirror itself. You should be able to swap one in no problem. Just make sure the wiring is the same and that the connector will fit.
For reference, the G37 mirror only uses 3 wires: GND, 12V BAT (constant), and 12V IGN (switched).
I would be willing to bet that it would be a direct swap.
