Since our website has been jacked-up the last week I thought I'd start a thread here... anyone receive load-in info yet?? This McDonalds was a pretty good meeting spot for the last show.

The show next sunday is 11-6 so I'm gonna guess load in starts at 7am.

OK.. just got of the phone with Jon at Showoff/Mainstream.

We are in Group 3, OUTSIDE. See, I told you we need to register early! Also, when you have less than 10, well you don't have much pull.

Load in for Group 3 is 9-10am. Let's meet up at 730a at the McD's. This gives some time for those that always run late, and might give us a chance to still sneak Ajay in.

REMEMBER... 1/4 TANK OF GAS!!!!

Hey guys. This is Vince. I have an old e-mail address registered on the TT forums, so I wasn't getting the messages. Thanks JC for pointing me here.

I will bring some chairs. And since Eddie L isn't going I can pick stuff up from him. (i.e. banner, stickers, tattoos, stuff that fits in a Z)

We need to build up the show attendance to be AT LEAST 10 cars at every event we attend. We need a standard. I am commited to attending every show with TT. Although I am a single 19yr old with most my efforts revolving around my car. Heh. So its easy for me to say that.

 

Hey JC, how 'bout some ice. I would bring the ice, but you are the one with the cooler. Do you want me to stop at a store on my way to the McD's. It won't melt by the time we meet up in the morning since its so cold.

 

I gotz the ice yo.

 

Cool. (pun intended). lol.

Schedule:
8:00- Meet at Macdonalds
8:15 - immediate departure for Fairplex
9a - hopefully begin load-in
10-noon -Clean cars and setup
3-10p - SHOW
10p - Awards
1045 - Exit
1115p - Dinner at RH Garden in Rowland Heights for those that want. (follow Ted for drop-friendly driveway)


THINGS TO BE AWARE OF:
1. You must have 1/4 or less of gas upon roll-in... so burn it off now!! PLEASE DO NOT show up at with a tick over 1/4. They won't let you in and the whole team will have to wait for you to drive it off. Which may cause us to have to park outside for the show!

2. Battery cables must be removed for the show.

3. In and Out privs are allowed from 8a to 3p, after that, they will cut your band upon return.

4. All vehicles will be searched. NO WEAPONS(including sharp objects), FOOD,DRINKS,DRUGS, ALCOHOL ALLOWED. So that mean you need to hide your food stash in your wheel well or something. Smiley I've been using clear rubbermaid boxes and but my food in the middle. They usually just give it a once over, but they will go thru any obvious ice chests and cubby holders. They usually dont complain about water.

5. PLEASE print out your roll-in email that was sent to you. If you get a chance, please fwd/email me a copy to ted.havill@hewitt.com

Sux we are outside & i registered like 6 weeks ago at least... ya foogin laggers!!


I just got a message from Showoff saying the show was 12noon to 7pm

back to my q.. .why do we need to sweat the gas deal if we are now OUTSIDE the freaking building!

& if we (Grp 3) roll in at 9 or what not ...isnt an 8 am meet at the Mcd pretty much FINE...? no sense in getting there so early if all we do is stand around & have a circle jerk waiting for these dorks to let us in the freaking LOT.

PS i have my canopy, & some chairs as well i can bring a cooler but that seems to be a bust for anythign but water...
