To All > I live in Randolph, MA and the track is in Ayer, MA. If anyone is anywhere close to the route I don't have a problem picking you up along the way. Just PM me and I can we can work something out.
Dude, I was going to go this Sunday, but I have a date, and well, you know...I love cars and all, but...if you saw this chick you'd understand why. lol
Sorry dude, I really wanted to go.
I'll have to go to one in mid-July, if you're attending. Keep us updated with upcoming events.
I'll see you at the dinner meet next Friday.

They run two heats an AM heat and a PM heat, i.e. "bestam" and "bestpm" (each heat is a few laps). The final time is the average of the two.
Then on top of that depending on what type of car a person drives they are given a handicap. The handicap is actually quite large for our cars. The "paxaverage" is where the handicap is applied. As you can see it narrows the gap between the S2000 and the G35 by a large amount.
BTW: If I was guaranteed some @$$ I'd consider missing a race.
FYI: I just got back from Plainfield, CT with a 2nd place trophy. The only car that beet me was a EVO running racing slicks. I didn't have a chance.

Got back from Devens a while ago. Naturally a 1st place finish. The G just kicks a$s. 2nd place was a Mazda Miata (2000 I think). I think that Miata will be my main competition throughout my novice year.
I'll post results when they become available.

Novice will last for the rest of this season. It's easy to tell I'm still a novice when you look at the times because each run there is usually a huge improvement.
EDIT: There was a nice Datsun 2000 that showed this time. See attached. There were actually 2 other Datsuns that showed, both 260Z. One is a regular, bright orange, the other just came to show off his car, dark green with that glitter like paint.

After 20 minutes of hot lapping on NHIS this is how your tires start to look.

Large file ~1.6mb
Note the 2 strips of melted rubber, various globs of rubber from other peoples tires and fortunately only small pieces of rubber cut out.

Oh and nice meeting you Redline. Are you going to join me for an AutoCross this weekend at Devens?
Oh and to the other Z guy that was there, I hope your car is alright after that little off road excursion you had. Drop me a line if you see this.
