They need to build the intakes. JWT did not expect an order of 40 at one time.

This is to answer your question in some way, and to answer other question posted by other member asking what is the difference on this intake and the rest of short rams like Fujita or Stillen. Besides the obvious Heat Shield and the difference in 3rd party Dynos results here is why this design by JWT works so well extracted directly from JWT''s Pop-Chargers Cleaning Instructions:

"Your new POP-Charger is the most efficient air intake system available. By adhering to ideal venturi theory, a 4:1 convergent area and a modified parabolic profile maintain a near linear air velocity along the entire venturi surface. Interestingly, it is the POP-Chargers aluminum venturi that accounts for the largest performance gain; the filter element itself is designed simply to not adversely affect this venturi."

I've had the Fujitas and my friend had the Stillen. The 2 main things that drove me to JWT set-up is A) heat shield baby! This is really important in my book. They block the heat from our engines and are still placed directly in the path of the front air inlets for max air flow. B) JWT uses the stock rubber intake tubes. The metal tubes used in the intakes mentioned above get too hot to touch with your hand. They heat up so much that I feel it transfers heat to the incoming air inside them. The Fujita intake I've been running feels great for about 5 to 10 minutes after you start the car. After they heat up, they feel like the hurt your performance. I dynoed my car with fujitas and got 8.3 HP on the second run, on the 3rd 4th and 5th runs it dropped to no gain, even a loss of 1 hp. Heat kills HP, and JWT is the only intake that provides the best heat protection

^ Yep, I mentioned the heat shield and the direct placement of the filter in my other replies before, so I just wanted to add something else I found, this 6" diameter venturi tubes really makes a difference also.

I edited my post to add the Heat shields, because my other replies have been buried in this long 47 pages thread.
