I am most likely going to order these especially at 289. On a side note, I was just wondering if anyone had pics of airbox removal and installation of the intakes?

I never got my Injen. The day the PMS did her dyno I withdrew my order. My gut told me not to order it in the first place but her dyno put me over the top and I dropped out pretty early. Since I wanted black I was more or less "down the list" since we were waiting on them to be made.

Will there be a bigger discount if it reaches 25 or 30?

Plan on placing order within the next 2 days. Hope it reaches 30+ to get another discount. Price is good as it is. Thanks HP and erasat for hooking it up.

You asking in regards to the just the filters? The JWT filters are constructed diff than normal paper gauze ebay filters. This design offers a better flow while still maintaining filtration. If you can google a actual JWT filter and a standard cone filter, you will see the diff which I am talking about.

i was asking about the overall intake.. the intakes look similar and seem to suck in air from the same spot (at least from what i could see in a small photo of fujita), but one intake loses/has no gain hp while the other gets 10..

Well the Fujita replaces the whole intake piping were the JWT replaces part of the system. The JWT uses the rubber/plastic piping whereas the Fujita replaces this with the metal tubing. This could make a difference especially that close to the engine which could help heat up the pipe. Anyone on here with the Fujita want to go drive your car for a good 20-30 minutes and then park your car and feel how hot the metal tubing is? This could be a major factor. The Fujita did do better than stock though with a ECU reflash/remap so it is not necessarily bad.

Oh, well there are more factors for this than just the filters. The JWT utilizes the factory intake tubes which has less heat soak. The JWT also has heatshields which are bent and molded carefully to ensure they direct heat away from filters. These lil attention to details along w the better filter, gives the JWT a better performance.
