I've got an '09 coupe with a rattling driver side catalytic converter. I obtained a slightly used OEM cat with the intention of replacing it myself, but in doing so I ended up rounding off the "demon bolt" and simply could not remove it. I do have a 14mm bolt extractor that bites just fine, but even then I still can't remove it. It may need to be torched or soaked with something other than PB blaster (or just a stronger pair of hands). Aside from the demon bolt, with my car on ramps, I don't have the leverage to break loose some of the other nuts/bolts either. I was wondering if there was anyone in San Diego with experience that could aid in the swap out or knows a mechanic that would be up to the task.
