Dealers that won’t rip me off? (For airbag light)

Unfortunately, I have to take my car in to the dealer to get my airbag light diagnosed and fixed. My mechanic pulled a B1134 code and he doesn’t know how to fix it. So now I have to take it in to the dealer.

Does anyone know of a “honest” dealer in SoCal? I know this repair will be pricey but I want it done right the first time. I don’t want to get the airbag fixed then a few months later, the airbag light comes on again with another code.

I actually tried to fix it myself by making sure all the connections underneath the seat are all secure. It did turn off the airbag light but it came back on a month later.

Just fyi, I have a 2004 G35 coupe. Any help will be appreciated!

I am not an airbag expert, but I would think this is the module that needs to be replaced. May still have to go to the dealership for programing, not sure.

I had a similar issue and they had to replace a defective airbag control module. Not sure if it applies to you but mine was under the center console.
