stick shift lessons?
stick shift lessons?
Anyone willing to give me lessons on how to drive a manual transmission thats in the socal area? I guarantee I will not mess up with tranny or clutch. I have drove stick a total of 2 times. Once on my friends GTI which i stalled my very first time and never after that, and another on my friends porsche 944 turbo (which has a realllyyyy deep clutch idk y). Of course I will pay, I just need some extra practice before going out test driving manual cars.
and btw, my friend with the GTI got a e46 m3 which he does not let anybody drive so basically I cannot learn on my friends cars.

No I don't have the car, anyone with a pos stick car they don't really care too much for will be perfect. And I'm pretty damn Positive I won't wear out the gears or anything but in the worst situation If something happens yes I will compensate.
Your best bet is to go to a driving school that offers cars with manual transmissions. Here’s one of a few that I goggled:

This makes me wonder how realistic racing games are nowadays.......I wonder if you could actually learn how to drive stick (at least get a decent idea, anyway) using Forza 4 and a Fanatec wheel + pedal setup.
Yeah you dont get the whole "my clutch is smoking" thing, but at least you'd have an idea of how to ease the pedal out, what gear to be in and when, etc.
