Just picked up a D90 with a 50mm prime. I'm still debating on whether to get a kit lens with a 55-200 or just drop the money on a 18-200.

Maybe a BBQ is a stretch for the first meet. Should we just do a meet (at some parking lot)?

That's always an option, we can always just grab a bite to eat at a restaurant if you guys decide to do that instead.

Wingstop?

So after thinking it over I agree about the bbq. I believe we should just have a meet somewhere and just chill and take some pictures.
We can have a bbq after we get to meet everyone, and bring over the g35's from driver so we have more food

Same date. I would say afternoon/nightish (5 pm ish? depending on fast it gets dark) just so we can capture some shots for the people with cameras and have a small dinner or something after.

In my opinion I would want to go to Wing stop. Those places somehow usually have some big parking lots that we can park in.

Cool with everyone?

There is also some thai food, or pick up stix there too (and in the same general area we wanted the bbq)

Yeah I'm pretty much set around that area unless you guys got some other place in mind. The parking lot there seems pretty big so I'm sure we can find a place where all of us can park.

5pm sound good? It should still be sunny for pics, if the photographers (whoever decides to bring a camera for practice) wants it darker we can just grab a bite then do a photoshoot after we eat.

Sound good to everyone? Bring your friends! or someone with another g37!
