How much are you guys paying for Insurance?
*Is envious of the rates paid outside California*
It sucks that we have to pay extra for all the ****ty/unlicensed/unregistered/uninsured/illegals.
I'm at about $300 a month for both the G and QX. Farmers (great service), "homeowners" and a few other discounts.
I'd be weary of any unusually low quotes. "Full coverage" does not mean that you walk away free and clear from any "at fault" accident. If the medical/property damage exceeds your coverage you will be sued for the difference. Also, there's plenty of ****ty companies that will gladly take your money and will look for any reason possible to avoid covering your loss.
General insurance refused to pay for a stolen (and burned) car. They stated the car was found with the keys in the ignition and was never stolen. I'd already gone to see the car and pointed out to my girlfriend (it was her car) that the thieves had "busted out" her ignition. I went back to the yard to take pics and was told that the car had already been destroyed.
This ~12 years ago. They never paid a dime of the 16k the car was worth.
Sorry for the mini-novel.

The breakdown on the G is $700.00 year with AAA

I just looked, its 500k/1M policy.
They also insure my 2 homes, boat, 2 other cars, 1 SUV, and $2M umbrella policy

nice, Yup my insurance is pretty low. With all thats stuff you must have a pretty good job!! I am 27 with my own house and 2 cars but I would LOVE to have a boat!! I dunno about another house though! Is the other house in a diff state so its a write off??
Allstate wanted to charge me $360 a month! I live in Chicago in a decent neighborhood surrounded by hell. Progressive gave me a quote for $206 a month for better coverage. I jumped on a house hold plan with my parents for Allstate. I pay $160 a month now. I'm barely 24 with a spotless record for the last 6 years. Well I was rear ended twice, not my fault. I should be paying less in a year.
