It seems I am becoming notorious for getting tickets
This ticket, I totally deserved it...
Excessive Speed (70 in a 45) and Failing to completely stop at a Stop sign.

I was tired, upset, stressed, etc. as I was coming home when I noticed the train was coming. I quickly busted a B1tch (U-turn) and tried to beat the train--that bastard usually takes up to 30 to pass by. As I made the turn, I sped up and managed to find a street where the train arms had yet lowered. As I passed the train arms (or what ever they are called) I was happy for a moment, but before I knew, I saw the damn red and white lights flashing right behind me.

So what was my early x-mas gift? The cop decided to give me a ticket for going too fast-- My radar detector never went off btw, so I am thinking he just guessed my speed as I know I was not going 70mph to my knowledge. Also, he noticed me not making the complete stop as I made the U-turn, so he cited me for that too.

I need to stop driving my G so much, its bad luck...

P.S. As I am writing this, I can hear the damn train blow its freaking horn!

 

LOL My wife drives my G every once and a while. here in texas we have those long trains also and she has been pulled over twice now for beating the train. I have yet to get a single ticket.

 

Wow Wlmngtn, sometimes you gotta just kick back and smell the roses at the trains stops.

 

I've had to learn to slow down over the years. I had quite a few tickets on my record and couldn't afford anymore. But definitely understand the G... It's easy to go fast because it doesn't feel like you are going as fast as you really are.

True you gotta relax, my friend Amir sold his G cause he couldn't go slow haha and those bs radar detectectors don't work, my friend got a 70 in a 35 he has a passport 9500ix and it never went off, poor kid got slammed on his G all in the same ticket, 1. Speeding 2. Driving passenger when not allowed 3. No front plate 4 modified exhaust 5. Window tints

I paid $500 for not stopping completely at a flashing red light (similar to a stop sign) so you might want to add another $200 or so for the speeding ticket.

 

Man Anthony! You just gotta cool down with the driving fast and take it slow. We all know we've got pretty fast cars, and that's why I take it so easy now a days. I got pulled over in my bros truck a few months ago and now I drive my G like a grandpa. Lol. Especially with all my mods, I'm paranoid of getting pulled over again, and so far I've been lucky in my G. [knock on wood]

just think...all that for a train. dont tell me it was the amtrak? cause that train only takes seconds.

 

You need to make a friend who someone who is on the job, maybe he could give you a PBA card or CHP decal.

I have a PBA card where I live in NY, that has saved me from minor fix it tickets to actual traffic tickets.

GL with fighting the tickets, bad luck usually comes in 3's from experience.

Its like me 2 years ago , I got 4 tickets (2 speeding, and 2 fix it tickets) all from the G ... Before that ---- nothing!

 

if he didnt show you his radar gun and the speed you were going while he was writing the ticket..
cant you contest the ticket and say that the officer never showed me his radar gun and if he never used it how was he able to track your speed???
