Unfortunately a couple of Cannon Ball Participants had to withdraw due to machine trouble or an emergency so we have 2 spots open.

These 2 spots can be acquired the day of the event as soon as Registration opens. (FIRST COME FIRST SERVED) on these 2 spots. Once these have been full, registration will close except for those preregistered.

So Maria, Danny how was it? No photos?

 

It was pretty fun. Did a lot of driving. I don't have pictures during the rally because I was driving and my co-pilot was even busier than I was searching for the next location and capturing bonuses.

I think overall it was well-organized. They had more than enough staff. It wasn't only a timed rally, but also based on points. You have to capture pictures of the locations given by the clues. Some clues were pretty cryptic. You definitely need a smart phone. I have 2-3 pictures at the end of the BBQ but not sure if that's worth posting. Oh yea, the skill tests at some of the locations were fun too.

Only thing I would suggest is having 2 separate groups or something (1 local, 1 non-locals) because I think the locals definitely had an unfair advantage over the out-of-towners. 1st, 2nd, 3rd places were all SD locals.


You guys should organize one in LA. I think that'd be pretty fun! You'd definitely get the LAG name out there too + your photography.
