Question Wanted: Good Body Shop in San Diego Area

Hey all,

It seems there are a lot of So-Cal drivers on the forum - Can you guys give any reccomendations for good body shops in the area? Some Fu(k swiped my front when I was parked for the night.

Kearny Mesa Dealership?

Only lived in San Diego for a year, so any help is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to going to a meet this summer too maybe.

THANKS A BUNCH IN ADVANCE!

Check out Chapperone Auto Body off of Balboa Ave. They do pretty good work. Ask for Matt and let him know Meritt with the Athens Blue G37 sent ya. He's a kool guy and their work is pretty good. Good luck!

I usually go to bumper doc in convoy st. They do pretty good job and I guess the price is fair enough. Just check it out and estimate your problem for free there

Thanks guys, I will check those places out. I was looking for "great work" more than "pretty good work," but I guess great body shops are few and far between.

Sinful Enhancements in Lemon Grove. Excellent work, but their prices aren't the cheapest. I believe you get what you pay for.

Pacific Coast Auto Body Paint on Miramar Rd. My buddy got his kit painted/installed there and it looks great.

I took my G to Chapperone about a month ago and if I had known about Pacific Coast I probably would have gone there. Not to say Chapperone was bad but they could have done a few things better. Definitely ask for Matt if you go. He knows his stuff and will do what he can to get it done right.

I got work done at Chapparone and am very happy. Although my work was minor (dent and scratches on the hood), here's a good example of what they were able to do with OGtripleOG37's ride:

Matt is the man. Let him know Davey with the Ivory Pearl G37 (and Meritt with the Athen's Blue G37) sent you.

For what its worth, they work on everything from Honda's to Lambo's (there was one on the lot that they did a full color change on when I went there).

I was just at Chapparone today for a quote.

To get my bumper re-painted, license plate holes filled, a big scratch on the hood repaired and re-painted, and a Stillen splitter painted was about $1500

Nice man, That seems about right for the work you requested. Are you gonna go ahead with it?

I was also going to see about the Stillen splitter... I really need to get by there tomorrow.

Seems like they are going to be the new G37 shop in town.
