looking for good driving course(canyon)

After angeles crest closed due to fire
sometimes i am going crazy b/c there's no vent for me.

i tried
ortega on irvine(too many cars and too far from my location)
latigo on malibu(way too much curve)
topanga on santa monica(too short)

anybody knows better courses near LA?

i miss angeles crest so much and its driver's heaven

It will be open jan 2010 to route to palm dale
fully open estimate date will be may 2010

i suggest you to keep away from canyon or other curvy roads to avoid accidents....unless you just wanna cruise it through at low speed....

if you wanna join us at malibu canyon run on this sunday along with all of my other S2k buddies you are more than welcome but im pretty sure you will have hardtime keeping with us and end up being left far behind

My G never will be taken to the canyon or the track... it does not deserve to be there...

at least i am driving it all over the place to save mileage on my S2k

a real track...

take some pics. don't worry about G37nS2K, he's the ultimate S2K fanboi. His post was pure magic...An invitation to a canyon cruise + a comment on leaving you behind + an insult that a car is not even worthy to drive on a canyon (like canyon driving is a gold standard...LOL).

anyway, some places to try in malibu are also stunt road...but i suggest you drive around the PCH Malibu area....I always find unsuspecting windy backroads to drive in all the time. Just watch out for the douchebags that think they're hardcore racers and run up and down the canyons like a bunch of tokyo drift f@gs
