There are ten million cameras like this for motorsports. I don't get it at all and then the VID only highlights fixed-mount cameras and no "Helmet Cam".

Joo, there's a lot of suction cup mounts that use a standard camera mount... and a camera that can record 720p can be had for under 120 nowadays =P

Problem is most organizations wont allow for suction cup mounts inside the car for safety reasons...

I don't know much about Camcorder. One thing that really caught my eyes was the quality and clarity of the promo video.

Super cool. A friend of mine has one of these and uses it for his motorcycle and snow skiing. He has a mic that goes behind the helmet and although it gives some wind noise, it is quite acceptable. Great videos.

 

Yes. I raced with SCCA and IMSA for several years. The first Video you posted shows a typical fixed mount split camera view in a race car,

I decided to use my Samsung Omnia to take videos. Quality is not too bad. Suction Mount $10, and Omnia I paid $99.99.
