I'm not a big Nascar nut, but my GF's pops bought us all tickets to go watch the race on Sunday.

Anyone else going? Or am I gonna be the only one there without a Nashville Neckwarmer?

Well I bought a 24 of Coors last night. Should I be ok

 

Well I went this past weekend. Race was at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontucky, er, I mean Fontana, CA. It was actually more exciting then I had expected. Partly because there was a fight right behind me right at the beginning of the race. Lol.

But yeah, no offense to all you "die hard" Nascar fans on here (if there are any), but these people are something else! Lol. The trashiest lookin dudes and dude-ettes wearing camoflage cargo shorts and faded Dale Jarrett wifebeaters everywhere! I couldn't help but laugh because I honestly thought people made up "Joe Dirt" jokes just for sheits and giggles. I didn't know how accurate they were! Buncha drunks that screamed "Woooohoooo!!! Yyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!" with their beers in the air everytime their favorite driver flew by It was pretty hilarious. My GF and I had fun tho.

So yeah, that was my experience at my first Nascar race and thought i would share if anyone cares.

Did I have fun? Yes.

Would I go back? Ummm

I was actually able to watch a good amount of the race on sunday since all the basketball games were blow-outs. I kinda got back into Nascar a little bit, but I really can't wait till the F1 season starts again.
