the standard hotel in downtown LA has really cool rooftop bar. Good place for lunch and "scenery" of all kinds

2. Pink's (Hotdog)
3. Griffith Observatory
4. Rodeo, only if you like hanging out at Dupont Circle in DC....
5. In'N Out
6. Santa Monica Pier

thats about it on top of my head. My nite life died out couple of years ago since I met my gf.... However, if you are Asian (70% chance you are due to driving a G) LA's Korean night clubs are definitely worth the $$. Le Circle & Velvet room are def worth checking out.
