if you want a fun car. get either the 07 sti or the evo9. if i was looking at the evoX, i could not justify the price tag for that little thing.

I'd be more than happy to facilitate fleet purchases.

Dave_ISM @ Santa Monica can do them as well

It all depends on what your looking for. If you want speed and you don't give a crap about anything else, get the evo. If you want a nice car get the G37.

They're both sexy but the lancer has the overall shape of a typical boring looking sedan while the G37's got much more of a GT shape going on (obviously coupe vs sedan has a lot to do with this but even the G35 sedan has that shape a bit). I personally find the G37 more attractive. Even if you like the evo look more, it only looks nice from the front, the G37 is nice all around. This is entirely subjective though, of course.

They cost pretty close to the same so I don't think I would consider that nearly as much of a factor as how nice the cars are. EDIT: I wrote this without doing any research--I just looked up prices and I guess the GSR model is cheaper than the G37 but the MR is the same price. So I guess you could save money if you get the GSR but it would be even less nice of a car.

I don't know where people come off saying that the evo is more fun though. Maybe it's got like .4 less in 0-60, but in overall ride quality I think the G37 has it beat. Again here it's personal preference. If you want to drag race, get the evo; if you want a "down the mountain" kind of ride, get the G. The evo is quicker but sloppier ride.

As far as luxury goes, the G37 obviously has the edge. The G has more gadgets and its more comfortable. Being in the evo you can just tell it isn't supposed to be a luxury car.

My choice was the G37 (I had both of these cars on my list when I was choosing too). One might feel the opposite, but I feel like the G37 is a lot nicer looking. As far as the drive goes, I prefer the refined speed over less refined slightly-more-speed (you can always mod the G to make it fast as hell). And with luxury the G37 definitely has the upper hand--this goes without saying. If you prefer the evo driving style and don't care about luxury get the evo but personally I definitely prefer the benefits of the G over the benefits of the evo, and imo the G is a lot sexier.

Looks: can go either way but I say G37 takes it
Speed: Evo
Fun to drive besides speed: G37
Luxury+tech: G37

It's all about what you want out of your car.

I say go for the G37!

Wow that post was longer than it needed to be haha

Nice review! I'm still debating what I should do... maybe I should get a test drive in the Evo.
