Infiniti of Oxnard service sucks!

Hi. I bought a Infiniti G37 S w/MT6 about two months ago and so far I only had a few issues with it. I took my car into this dealership last friday because I was taking care of some business in Oxnard anyways. Well I spoke to the service rep. and told him about the issues going on with my car and said he could look at it next Tue. at 9am. I show up at 9am. sharp with my car again and he is talking to his service manager and a couple minutes go by and then he comes out and says "Lets see whats going with this car!" and not even a hello or anything. So we take a little test drive around the dealership listing for the chirping sound and the car is not making one chirp. (It figures!) Now he says he can't do anything about it until it starts making the sound again. (Fair enough, I guess) Then I mention the other small issues like the center speaker grill not sitting in correctly and he replys that I have a life and I'm not tearing into the dash because of this problem and when they get done the dash will have a rattle to it. I also mention the weird marks going on the driver's side lower skirt spoiler and had his detail throw wax on it. (Weird marks and it's not me hitting it with my shoes) He does know that there was a chirping sound on the earlier models from Infiniti but refuses the idea that it had come over to the 08 model. This guy was such a jackass of a service rep. today I didn't even bring up the window seal problems. I had better service with my Honda and Toyota.

Have you tried taking it up with the manager? I wouldn't let them step on my feet... You've made an investment with them, they should hold their end of the bargain...

Make sure you call back and check on the status and to see what they can do for you. Don't forget Infiniti NA is really Nissan NA, and we all know how Nissan service is.

I had a dealership do something similar to me (Nissan). I made life so hard for them, that they were calling my house and leaving messages that I'm affecting their business.

You know what they say, 1 dissatisfied customer can make more noise than 100 satisfied ones
