looking to move to Atlanta....
If you're talking to me I did. I have a home and a manufacturing facility in the GA mtns near the NC border. I still have a home in Henry County only because its not worth attempting to sell for the next 10 years.
FWIW the GA mtns are full of people who fled ATL and FL to get real QOL. We don't have rapes, murders, armed robberies and all that other BS you see on the first 20 minutes of ATL news every night.
Yes, there are downsides to living in ATL, as there are with any major city. But Atlanta as a whole is a great town with a lot of very nice places to live, both close to and far away from the city. I've lived in small towns and big cities and Atlanta is just as nice as anywhere else. Come on down and stay awhile!
Whoa whoa whoa, if you're going to say "Correct, but this thread was about ATL" and then go on and compare ATL to LA, you're being a hypocrite, lol.

Been there, done that and got the t-shirt.
Have a great Labor Day....I'm about to grab the wife, point the G into the wind and head to St Augustine.

Sorry about your mom Nam. I hope she has a quick and complete recovery. The good thing is that no matter what the issue is, the Houston medical center is far and away one of the best places in the world for treatment of just about anything. Best of luck.
