Oil Cooler? Transmission Cooler?

I live in Kuwait, and my car has the local spec, so called 'GCC Spec', meaning, it is supposed to be able to handle the local climate. Here, weather is simple - we have hot, very hot and damn hot.
Was coming back from a meeting at 2:30pm, and noticed this:

If it's this hot in early June, August promises to be the hottest on record. Last year it hit 57C, so this year we may see even higher. So, my question is...should I look at getting an oil cooler? Deeper oil pan (to increase oil capacity)? Transmission cooler? All of the above? And if yes, who makes good ones that fit my car?

Or hope that Infiniti took care of it already?

we in the GCC already get an oil cooler albeit a small one. no harm adding more cooling.
though even in the hottest months of july-aug you will probably never hit limp mode on the street. i never have and i dont drive like a grandma either.

^^ what he said.

But if you want to spend some $ I would suggest both as well.

BTW - I cant believe you already have almost 31k km on your ride... I just hit 13k miles or about 20k km and my car will be 2 years old in just 3 weeks!

I'm in the same position as you. Highest I've seen here in Kuwait is 59C (140F) in the sun (Summer 2007 or 2008 I think). I left my car in the sun for a few hours and when i can back the interior plastics were so soft and sticky it's insane. The A/C was having a hard time cooling the car too.

Anyhow, I have currently installed a larger transmission cooler and I'm hoping to install an engine oil cooler soon. My oil temps are actually pretty good (200-220F) with peaks of around 230F in summer. I'm worried more about the coolant temps though, as I'm seeing over 100+C in prolonged driving conditions (Not even pushing the car, just lots of stop and go driving in the heat). I dunno if that's normal but it worries me.

Anyhow, I highly recommend a 19 row cooler for the transmission oil and 25 row cooler for the engine oil. GTM makes great kits for both.

I orderd mine from Z1 motorsport , 6 series 25 row for engine with thermostatic sandwich adaptor and 1 series 19 row for transmission .
I hope with this oil cooler kits keep my car cool in this summer.

LOL G Force, I had top down from Feb until 2 weeks ago ( 30C ). It will cool down enough in early October. So, top can go down for roughly 6 months out of the year....not bad.

134 degrees F?? Your temp gauge is lower than mine, I dont think you have any problem.

Photo was taken as I got into the car...not after driving it for a while. My concern is that June is just the start of the summer here, and it's already 53C. August is MUCH hotter, and 90% of the driving is in stop/start city traffic.

Coolant temp gauges here are actually supposed to read about 1/4 not 1/2 like the US. They work differently.

OK..checked out GTM and Z1 web sites..they both sell the same core (Setrab). If I understand correctly, I should get one kit for transmission and one more or less identical kit (unless I want a bigger core) for oil. One would be installed front left, and the other front right?

I also found a Mishimoto Universal Oil Cooler with a fan. Would that be a better choice (having a thermostat-controlled fan in there)? Universal Oil Cooler Kit, by Mishimoto

Be sure to get the one that does NOT have the themastatic adapter. you will not need that and the price on GTM is a 200 dollar difference
