my clutch chatters or makes a rattling sound after driving it sometimes. the dealer said it normal when the clutch is hot. sounds like **** until u push in the clutch but when u let go of it in neutral it chatters..any idea what this could be?
Typical issue that's been beaten to death on these boards. One quick search would yield you endless amount of unproductive results. Unfortunately, you're just going to have to live with it.
ahahahaha!! cement mixer!! lol!! thats too funny..when there is no chatter it idle's like a sewing machine but when it chatters it is toatally a cement mixer.. sounds like somethings loose. i dunno. that frickin sucks.
Interesting - I actually love the fact that my clutch is silent. In my former ride an S60R (Volvo for those not familiar) the clutch was quite noisy and I got accustomed to the chatter. I guess I am fortunate for the moment...
Yep, mine chatters. Doesn't seem to be a pattern for triggering it. But even if it stops, I have to deal with my girlfriend's chattering, and there's no TSB for that.
My factory clutch was very quiet but the JWT clutch makes a hell of a noise at idle with the clutch pedal released. Clutch pedal in = quiet. From what I understand its something we just ahve to live with.
