Front bumper body kit

Hoping someone can help me out. I bought a front bumper lip for my G37S before I did my research. After bringing it to a couple places, it looks like I will be paying around $700 to get a piece of fiber glass painted and installed. Does anybody know a cheap place in the DFW area to get this painted and installed?

Thanks

I doubt you'll be getting it for any cheaper. 700$ is really not that bad of a price to fiberglass that to your bumper and repainting the entire front bumper+lip and installed. Anyways good luck you can PM me and I could refer you to a friend. Not sure what the cost is going to be though it might be more than 700$ might be less.

Thanks Quaker.....The $700 did not include painting the bumper, just the lip. If anyone in the DFW wants to take this project on, I am selling for a fair price.

I may be wrong on this one, but the term “body kit” to me conjures up an image of ill-fitting, cheap, plastic add-ons that actually detract from the designers efforts to produce a good looking and well-engineered automobile.

Noted. What's that got to do with helping him find a body shop to do paintwork in Dallas?

On the slight chance the OP ends up agreeing with me, then he can sell the damn thing and not need to find a body shop for it.

Got it. You're trying to save him from screwing up the looks of his car by going through with the paint and installation of the part he's already bought. You never know, maybe he'll reconsider his purchase and come around to your way of thinking.

Thanks BB. I actually go the idea of the lip from the forum front page. There is a blue and black G37 that looks real nice. I found the part on craigslist and bought before I research (dang mod bug got the best of me). As for screwing up the looks of my car, I have to disagree. Its a minor mod that I think will look real nice. Everybody has an opinion though.
