Live in California but looking to pull the trigger on a 2010 G37S Coupe out in southwest Houston, Texas. But it'd be great if one of you guys could go there to check it out for me.

I'm gonna have a PPI done by an Infiniti dealership, but a second pair of (enthusiast) eyes would be great.

I am told corporate fleet is no big deal, but it looks like the second owner drove 30k miles in 1 year. What do you think about this?

It looks well kept from the pictures I was emailed, and the deal is great (Asking 25 but I will try to negotiate lower) so I am ready to purchase if there is no cause for concern.

 

Sorry man, my friend no longer works there. I live on the complete opposite of town out in the 'burbs, it's a long way from me. Maybe someone else who lives on that side of town is willing. Most of our Houston members on this forum tend to live out that way.

Sure, thanks regardless. What's your personal assessment on the Carfax, though?

 

Carfax only tells you basic stuff. It won't tell you about damage that didn't require an insurance claim. Or defects that you wont find on your own and the seller either doesn't know about or won't tell you about. It isn't a substitute for having a used car checked out by a qualified professional.


I've never used them personally but I have heard great things about this company locally:
