My car needs a new rear driver's strut. I have the extended warranty, but magically struts aren't covered (what a load of BS). Sewell quoted me $450 to replace it.

Anyone know any Infiniti shops or dealers or reputable independent mechanics who could replace it?

I'm in the Spring Area, but willing to drive to save some cash.

 

depends which extended service plan you buy buddy...not all warrantys cover suspension

I bought the Infiniti Platinum Elite plan or whatever. not covered.

and BB, I appreciate the generous offer, but I just ended up replacing it at the dealer (Sewell) after calling a few places and getting similar prices. I did have some issues w/ grounding wires that you had sent (probably my own fault for not installing correctly) which I'll PM you about.
