Talking Noob lookin for advice.... (Houston Tx)

Hello all,

Just bought a 2009 G37 Sedan Base Slate Gray/Black. Coming from owning mostly M3s (e30, e36, and e46) but I love the G so far. So here is what I hope you can help me with. My car is still under warranty 19k miles on my car. It needs a few things and I want to take it to the dealer like I did my M's. Anyone know the friendly ones. I hate when dealers hassle and don't warranty little things to be ****s.

For example the paint is peeling on my wheel and doing research I understand that a lot of G's do this but only certain dealers will warranty it. I don't want to get unlucky. I was an avid member of m3forum and always got good advice at times like this. I am hoping someone here can direct me to the best dealer for quality no haggle service!

Thanks appreciate it in advance. Loving the G so far I have a tin of questions and mods planned you have a great forum here.

I've just gone in for a few minor things and fluid changes, but I really like Sewell. They're on the North side, though. I followed you here from your original post, though, and saw you were looking at the one at I10 and Dairy Ashford. No experience with them here

Welcome to the site, I've heard good things about Sewell Infiniti, I know they're in Texas but not sure about Houston. It wouldn't hurt if you have a day off to try a couple dealers and see what happens, always good to find one that is more sympathetic to the owners.

You should also see if you've had the latest TSB for your transmission applied (if it's an auto).

I got my car from Sewell Infiniti in Houston. It's on I-45N near 1960. Good service. Pretty ladies there. I enjoy my visits haha.

What are are you from? I didn't like Westside. I walked around for 15 minutes and wasn't even greeted once. Bad service IMO. Went to Sewell North and was greeted right when I walked around the G that I wanted.

Well I spoke over the phone with Norman in the service department and told him I want the steering paint peeling to be replaced and I didnt want to go through escalation with infiniti consumer affairs. His first response was "no problem I will take care of it" which really made me breathe a sigh of relief.

I also spoke with a guy named Hector Diaz in SW infiniti and he seemed very pleasant and eager to please as well. I dont know who I should go to.

Thanks man!

Hector or Omar from SW Infiniti are good guys as well. I always took my car to Omar when I still had it. I don't like West Houston Infiniti due to me sales experience.

They said the same thing then charged me labor at West Houston Infiniti. My car is outside of warranty but it is a defect cosmetically. I'll make the drive to Sewell next time. Service guy told me to take it up with Infiniti consumer affairs.
