Service Department in Houston, Tx
Sewell Infiniti is NOT North Houston Infiniti, not that I ever had bad experience with North Houston Infiniti. I have been going there for since 2005. I am extremely impressed with the new people they got when Sewell took over.
Like I said I was happy with NHI, but Sewell has stepped up the game even more. They pay attention to the small details now much more than NHI. I was there to pick up my car, and three people from the porter, to the tech to the service advisor asked me if they could get me something to drink in the 10 minutes I was there. The porter also walks you back to your car and opens and closes the door for you (never had this happen when it was NHI). One time I went in and my service advisor wasnt at his desk, the service manager came out and got me started on the paperwork. If you havent been to Sewell since it became Sewell, I would say you should hold off on judging them till you do.

PS I live in Sugarland, so unless I thought the service was pretty darn good I would not drive an hour each way to Sewell, when Southwest Infiniti is 5 mins away. ( I dont know about their service but the sales experience I had there was enough to spoil it for me )
I took the car in for the transmission shifting issue at low speeds (engine braking). The tsb is #9-032a.
I only had about 500 miles on the car at the time. It is not completely gone but it is more subtle than before. From reading the various other postings it probably will not get any better.

Well I took my car in to Sewell Infiniti, because Clearlake was to busy and didn't have any loaner cars available. First off, I have never taken my car in and never went to a place that offered a FREE loaner car. Service was top notch. They even assisted with moving my belongings to the loaner car (2008 g35) the issues I brought to them was:
1) Clutch noise
2) Brake squeal
3) Window seal leak.
They fixed everything but the clutch, because for some reason the noise disappeared. It has gotten a lot quieter. But I bet the noise will come back sooner or later.
Overall my experience with Sewell was way above my expectations. Anybody want to get their car serviced I recommend Sewell.
