Photobucket is easy. Just copy and paste the url if you can't figure out the other way.

I've tried from both my phone and my mac and also tried the upload via url and device and both are fine until I go to insert photos and then once I click insert it goes back to the to the text box and it's the same text and no photos have been inserted.

I don't use a mac so I can't help there. But I just tested it by uploading a photo directly from my phone (iPhone 6 Plus) and it worked just fine. Here's what I did. What are you doing?

1) Click the image icon.
2) Click the "From Device" button.
3) Select "Photo Library".
4) Select a photo. Click "Done".
5) Wait for the photo to upload.
6) Click "Insert".
7) Done.

I have been trying to do a DIY for my intake for about 4 days and even tried both two browsers and still no luck, I've obviously added many pictures before but now it never adds the coding box into the text box after pressing insert...

Are you doing everything exactly the same? If not, what are you doing differently? Are you posting links from a hosting site like photobucket? Uploading directly form a phone?
