New Wheels for Sale Subforums...

Just my opinion, but I think separating the wheels classified section into subforums based on the size of the wheel for sale is a little absurd - there weren't that many posts in there anyway, and I'm interested in purchasing 19"s or 20"s so I check there frequently. And I'm guessing the only thing you'll find in the 18" section is stock wheel/tire setups.

Pretty much the only wheels that sell on here or 19 or 20. I dont really see a point.

The only 18s are stock wheels from the sedan and the title usually says "Stock Wheels"

Over the last month or two, I received about a half dozen PMs from members asking if the wheel and tire section in the Marketplace could be broken out into different sizes to make searching easier. I've seen it like that on other forums, and I have to agree it makes it easier search wise. My apologies that some think it's unnecessary, but it's hard (if not impossible) to make a change to the forum that will satisfy every member.

I like it better seperated. Its def more organized and eliminates the frustration of clicking threads for 19s when im looking for 20s cause the OP didnt put the size in the title.

And the reason there arent many 18s for sale here is that most of them dont clear the stock BBK

But given the quantity, there's hardly a need to search...the only ones still for sale are on the front page and usually even the top 10 are actively being sold :-/

I bet this would be less of an issue if the "mods" would close FS threads with sold items..

You complain an awful lot about mods not closing threads, but I have yet to see even an single reported post from you requesting that a completed FS thread be closed or reporting a problem. Does it bother you and do you really want them closed to help clean up the forum, or do you just want to complain about the moderating? I'm not looking to buy or sell wheels so I might not browse that forum at all. But if you do and notice something that needs attention you should report it.

Click the report post button and report problems. It's easy. And you'll be doing your part to be part of the solution.

Is that something we should be doing?? Requesting closes on sold item threads? Seems like a big headache for you guys :-/

Sure. If you see something click the report post button, that's why it's there. It's easier than for mods and admins to prune through every post of every thread looking for things. We will miss things that you might see. And that way all staff will see it and somebody will be online sooner or later to take care of it.

Its a good idea (but not required) for sellers to PM a staff member or click the report post button to tell them a thread needs closing if it's been sold.

LOOOL Jarborn1,

How on earth would closing a FS thread help you distinguish 18s from 19s from 20s?

You're just stirring the pot here

I guess where I clearly stated that the way to accomplish this was by clicking the "report post" button was much to complex for you to comprehend, huh? I'm not surprised. It just proves that I was right about you only wanting to **** and moan about moderators, apparently me in particular, rather then help.

I don't know who peed in your corn flakes but it wasn't me.

Like I mentioned earlier, it's impossible to make a change to the forum that satisfies everyone. You might find it absurd, where others will like it.

Thanks again for your feedback.
