Thanks again for your feedback.
I think making the different size categories is a great idea.. honestly. My point was still that there were easier ways to improve the F/S section.. Such as deleting obvious sold threads (as is customary on almost EVERY OTHER forum, mod's stay on top of things...)

BB seems to think everything i say is a shot at the Mod's, why he is so defensive is beyond me as he isn't even a mod

My posts are simply to show what else could be done to help out the site.. Sam, GC and MAYBE 1-2 others are the only ones that actively try to better this place..(There is a reason why so many people left to join the other site..)

What's the point of having mods if to close a SIMPLE thread there needs to be "reports" or members have to contact staff and request changes? Just kinda seems silly as you can tell by the 10mins i was in the 20+ wheels f/s section last night and found about 10 OBVIOUS sold threads..

That's all..

Point taken Jarborn, there are lots of FS threads here.. keeping track of each and every one is not easy, I don't see what the big deal is however, I mean, so what if a sold item's thread wasn't closed? If the last post clearly says SOLD then anyone entering that thread would know. If the OP was nice enough to even edit his first post with just the words SOLD that would be even better.

Cleaning off topic posts and bashing/childish posts IMO contribute more in making this place better than closing FS threads.

^^^ Agreed

Why is it the OP doesnt have the permission to close his own thread. Some forums can.

Because sometimes scammers might take advantage of that

I hear ya. Just a waste of space in my opinion, but no point in rehashing.

If the OP double clicks to the right of the thread title in the forum they can edit it to say "SOLD", we cannot keep track of everything that has been sold it's up to the OP or buyer to edit or post saying the item has been sold.

I like the way that club lexus wheel classifieds are posted with the state (location) first ,so you can quicklly eliminate ads if you don't want to deal with shipping and are primarily interested in only local sales, so you have the option of seeing up close before buying. Just 2 cents..
