Absolutely ridiculous. What do you (staff) people get out of this? You just reinforce the initiative other people are taking. It's too bad, that you yourselves can't seem to see that you are your own worst enemy. In antagonizing your members, you've catalyzed them to do better than you.

Irrespective of what this excuse of a website was supposed to accomplish, you've resorted to petty theft of stealing away someone's membership. The worst part is that money doesn't even go to you.

Try sending a PM to the Admins to get the situation rectified. You may want to include all of them in your PM. It may help to include the date you paid for Premier Membership if you can remember it.

 

I remember the date of expiry and it was Oct 7, 2010.

I'll contact IB if no one fixes the problem within the next few hours.

As I said, contacting the site Admins will very likely get your problem solved quicker but you are certainly free to pursue it however you like.

Why should he have to hide it? I think he's being a stand-up guy letting me know that if I pay for premium membership, I can apparently get it yanked at any time without anyone explaining why or providing a refund.
