Mods/Admin re: Sponsors..
Mods/Admin re: Sponsors..
I am sure i'm not the only one who thinks this and who even knows if it can be done, but with as many people that are screwed on a regular basis with vendors can there be some sort of regulation? Maybe like a trial period for vendors or something along those lines..
I am all for having as many vendors as possible as it will lead to more parts for us all but when only 50% are actually coming through with stuff and the other 50% are screwing many members of the forum it's kinda silly..
Like i said i don't even know if anything can be done, but if there was something i say go for it.
That is all,
J

The number of legitimate honest vendors far outweigh the number of scamming jerks who sponsor this forum, it's not even close to being 50/50.
I think that would be a fantastic idea and have even suggested it myself some time ago. That being said, those decisions are not up the the staff of the site. Maybe if you're serious about it you could contact IB and suggest it to them.

Well that's why i posted it here. Obviously i am serious, i would imagine the "Mods/Admin" would already have some type of relationship with IB that would garner more successful results than just some member sending and email..
The 50/50 was a guesstimate...

Not necessarily the case. I personally think that if more regular members would contact them regarding it, that would carry more weight than the staff members. The more voices that contact them letting them know it's become a problem might say them into action IMO. All they can do is say no.

Yea, some people should be responsible for screening the vendors/sponsors. It's not about the cash...

that is a true article.... the forums became just a source of profit instead of information and a community like the old days. i know a lot of people just lurk now instead of posting like the old days when Godzilla was the owner of the sites
