They are in the shops, most are too leary of doing the wrenching themselves. Once more used G37's hit the road, more people will be willing to try out some more DIY techniques.

There are some very well informed people on this forum. Read some of the technical posts.

This forum has gone downhill IMO. There is too many people post flooding here, more concerned with post counts than anything else. On another forum that I'm a member of, moderators warn and sometimes ban members just for posting too many useless responses. On this forum it seems to be encouraged and it makes the good, useful posts harder to find...
Nothing like having some stupid idiot join the forum a good two months after you, post away like a frikken zealot and then treat you like the outsider just cause they have amassed over ten thousand mostly useless posts...

I'm sure there are a lot of people that are very well informed, but they need to be more active. They need to keep this forum more alive or else, this forum will be have useless and repetitive threads.

How do you figure they "left"? There are nearly 2800 users and approximately 12-15 new registrations a day..

how about some activity numbers then not just registered users. Lets see hits per day, and time spent per hit.

Yes please launch the worldwide initiative to find the best, most brilliant technicians and bring them to this site. I got questions that need to be answered. Let me know as soon as thats done because I got more requests that you cant accomodate.

That is because the timer for inactivity was set at 120 minutes, now it will show you have logged off after 20 minutes

I think this discussion is going off on a different tangent. It is an important topic, though. I would like to give some personal input regarding this forum, but not in this thread.

Let's focus on DIY technicians. Do we have any?
