Again, if you want to build your OWN forum with your OWN rules than feel free to do so, no one here will stop you. But if you want to keep participating in THIS forum, you'll have to accept the rules that have been put in place LONG before you ever got here.

Garnett, actually the last few weeks hardly on the forums. I love them but i was not referring to the rules i was referring more to some of the people that suck here not the rules. more like a bakers dozen of people, reason no avatar to OP, is because of this, your to cheap to become a Premier member!

...there are a way more perverts on driver that loves to fap. 
Truth beknown, myg37 started out prior to the launch of the 37 as a sub forum on g35driver which had the sig/avitar rules overthere.
Myg37 launched in august carrying over the same exact rules from driver to here. The avitar/sig rules have always been here since day one, not what you are putting out.
The sig rules were put in a long time ago cause there where some that really took advantage of them where people were complaining that the sigs far exceeded the size of the posts. People didn't know where the content of the post stopped and the sig started.
It became a case of the tail wagging the dawg. Ain't gonna happen here. If you are here for the sig as opposed to contribute to the community here, click a different url.
The sig/avitar whinners are a small (very small) percentage but very vocal of the people that sign onto myg37. Spend your time contributing as opposed to whinning.

too easy: the reason we are here is simply because it's the best. What makes it the best compared to the other G37 forums? Only one reason: this one has the most traffic & members by far. If another G37 forum had more members and traffic than MyG37.com, it would be better. If another G37 forum had more members/traffic and had no avatar or sig restrictions other than a realistic size limit then it wouldn't just be better, it would absolutley rock!

It's kinda funny, every time a thread like this gets started, the staff gets involved, stirring the pot even more until the thread gets locked. If only regular members were to post in these threads they would fade away on their own.

Having a dicussion will not get a thread locked. A thread going OT and or attacks in them will cause them to get locked, they just go down hill from there and serve no purpose whatsoever. It happens too many times.
Staff gets involved in these types of threads as they should do cause the OP is questioning/challenging polices of the the forum. When the staff doesn't get involved then people start posting that we are avoiding them. So is it a dam if we do and dam if we don't situation according to you.
I'll answer the first part of your question pretty breifly and the answer will stand by itself. Prior to the 37 coming out, Infiniti Corporate was looking for a forum to intereact with the internet community = G35driver. The only forum. They liked how it was run.
