I doubt I have reported more than 10 posts ever. If I am wrong, please correct me.
Its not a problem with people fighting or breaking forum rules, but the issue is that a handful of users are seen on every thread and are adding nothing. I mean, and I'm really not trying to start ****, but in the brakes and rotors topic someone asked about bigger rotors, and the reply was "blahhh".
In all honestly, I dont expect it to change. And its really not the mods fault, just sucks that people can't tell the difference between a forum and a chat room.

There are certain individuals here that are more helpful than others and there are also the ones that are helpful but they got to poke fun at people as well (Solo). 
We all have different personalities so are easier to get along with then others. You just got to deal with those few idiots that you will meet here and there.

I feel like I contribute when I know the answers but I like to have fun as well especially if someone posts a question that has been answered several times but they were just too lazy to search....game on!

yea im with solo.... post whoring is apart of any public forum and its not a big deal... in the vendor threads i can understand people getting upset but everywhere else its not a big deal... just let it go

My response is, no there isn't an excess of post-whoring here at all. Also, it seems the mods can't make you guys happy. First we're deleting too many posts and being way to controlling / strict, then we're not strict enough and not deleting enough threads. Its impossible to have the perfect balance, but we do what we can and delete the threads/posts that break the rules.

I guess I am just used to Toyota boards where poeple only post when they have something valuable to add.
Here it just seems like every new thread starts with a legit question or comment, and the same 5 people start a side conversation about nothing, and each one posts 5 times. Soon you have a 2-5 page thread about nothing.
I'm not trying to be a post ****, just saying that some people find it nessisary to post in absolutely every thread. Even the regional threads that don't apply to them, AT ALL.
I suppose people are just trying to build up credibility, the same people will be using the "I have 5,000+ posts at myg37.com" line to secure sponsorships and first dibs. But its really bringing down the boards IMO.
Oh, and don't bother reporting it to the mods, they don't seem to mind.

i hate people who would report anything to an admin. what a lameas$ coward. in life you have a problem deal with it. you can't be going and telling mommy and daddy about some nasty posts people have made grow up. being a POST ***** takes skillz and if you can't keep up then back up!!!
