How about a ban log in the announcements forum showing when someone has been banned, why, and for how long? I was just going through a few threads and noticed a couple of members had been banned, not anyone that I'd miss. It would be good entertainment for the well behaved to see those ruining the forums getting what they've earned. It also might serve as a deterrent to abberant behavior if there was a link to the post(s) that got them banned for those who might be contemplating the same. .02

I didn't ban anyone. Before this gets thread jacked, that's not what this thread is about. It's just a suggestion/request to administrators for a ban log, not an invitiation to get into who should be banned and why; the forum rules clearly spell all that out and I personally don't have a problem with any of them like lots of other folks do.
AS the OP who asked the question and got an answer, I'm all good and this thread can be locked or deleted as far as I'm concerned. Anything further is likely to go down the wrong road. I can see that now.
