Wink HELP ! I fell in love with the G37...

Hi guys,

first, please excuse me for my bad English !

somebody would have the kindness to help me ? My request ...
I live in Belgium (in north of France) and Infiniti is not imported yet in Europe, maybe this year but it's very difficult to have some good informations.
I'm fell in love with the G37 ,i already kindly requested some retailer (in USA) to send me a documentation but not answers !
Thus, somebody would have the kindness to send me complete folders of this car???
I will be very happy !
I give you my e-mail adress , it 'll be easier to have contact and to give you my personal postal adress:
familyscalbert@skynet.be
I like your forum, with a lot of informations, videos, pictures ...and your feeling with this car. At this time, I try to sell my Porsche 966 Targa and after ... i hope a G37.
Thank you to have read this message and maybe some answers...
Thanks a lot in advance and if I can do something for you, it will be with pleasure!

Bye
Vincent.

Service manuals? I don't understand what you mean by folders? Sales materials?

I can tell you that every day this car and I become better friends. It takes a little while for me to learn how to really drive a new car. Learn to keep all four tires down at speed. Finally have fun in the car with no "surprises".

VDC off unless snow or fresh rain for me from now on.

It easily outperforms my intake exhaust technosquared 2004 Z in every way.

Mine being #603 in the first production run, it had several problems common to being "first years" and nissans in general. Some drive anchors were not torqued to spec, or required torque beyond spec, so they pinged and popped under stress. Also, there was a driveshaft spline alignment/lubrication issue that caused a "ping" that sounds like a worn ujoint. Numerous "rustling" or rubbing or pop noises from interior panels as they shifted against each other due to bump or rapid temperature change.

I have been able to deal with all the noises inside the car with felt pads, or baby powder (seriously) where panels meet, or on the clips that hold them together. I used plastic polish on the Z which had all these same problems.

I rather expected them.

Now, after a few pleasant visits with my infiniti service department, all is well and I am loving the car. 5000 miles on it now.

All are intimidated by it, at least a little, as it is quite new and unproven. Chicks dig it, it shows a great deal of taste and refinement so the man driving it must be a gentleman. She is right.

Thanks Blackjack, but i know the internet adress !
I would like the folders that you can receive at the dealer, you know, with palette colors, technical description ... nice description, nice pictures ...
it is to read every evening before sleeping ... Internet is great but
nothing is equal to the folder that we can receive from salesman !!!

You know what I read before I go to sleep when I am shopping for new cars?

Road and Track magazine.

I still have my road and track mag on the Z, mine was sunset. I memorize every stat, burn each picture into my mind. I really am a car nut.

The colors that infiniti offers really need to be seen in person. They are tinted metallics which don't come across well in photos, and under different lighting conditions. Unless you go with blue or red or white or black you need to see them in person in sunlight from different angles. I have Platinum Graphite which is very neutral and makes the car take on the colors of the things around it. It glows blue under a cool sky. It radiates green when next to a tree.

PM me your address, and I will send you the folder.

I also suggest you study the service manual and other docs (nav, users) available online. This is really a special car that transcends the tiny problems that it had.

Cheers.

RedHerring, you got a PM ;-)

It will be a problem, perhaps I will have to order the car without never to have seen it.
The color not to make an error will undoubtedly be black (sorry for the translation).
"I still have my road and track mag on the Z, mine was sunset. I memorize every stat, burn each picture into my mind. I really am a car nut" ... Great ! I understand you !!!
More news later.
Thank you for your forum ! Many people must surely read it to find interesting information (like me)!
Thanks also for the nice pic of your cars and that's right, the light is very important for the color.

Bye and have pleasure with your car.

Vincent. (in love with beautiful cars)
(if you want and if you explain me, i'll post some pics of my Porsche)
