Got Trolls? Mods Needed?

Seems like trolls are running the board these days. There have to be 10-20 active threads right now that are either highjacked, flames, or just plain stupid.

Mods, please start locking threads that are too far gone and please start banning the culprits.

I volunteer to help out if you guys need it. This used to be an awesome board but it has definately gone down hill lately.

I'd like to volunteer as well if help is needed. Obviously with more people joining, it could get a little chaotic. We can start by banning all the BMW lovers, and banning all those who don't know how to use paddle shifters, because clearly, they don't know how to drive. Oh..and ban those who don't know how to drive.

Ok..don't ban coupe-daddy until after he buys me a beer. I'll keep you mods posted when that happens.

We try to keep the threads as open as possible as long as they are adhearing to basic rules.

IMO I don't think there are as many as you said but thanks for bringing it up. With that said please post the linkies that you are talking about in this thread.

The biggest problem for the staff is the people not posting threads in the proper forum. They use the general sub forum as a dumping ground for anything they feel like. I know for myself I am moving threads out of there almost everyday and have basicly stopped using redirects to keep the general forum from looking like a battle ground.

I have also had to go into many threads and 'edit' the subject title so people can figure out what the heck the thread is about before entering a thread with a dump subject title and it has nothing to do with what the thread is about.

Post up those linkies you are talking about Gyoza.

I think if administrators take a look at user's "ignore lists" and see the same few user names on the ignore list of a significant number of users, you'll see who exactly is annoying the hell out of those who actually use the forum constructively. I know personally it's sometimes a struggle to resist the urge to click the "post reply" button when I read some of the rampant stupidity that has seemed to have crept in and spread lately, but that's what the ignore button is for. Most morons seem to be attention ****** and might leave if they are ignored, but some posts are invasive into otherwise helpful or entertaining threads.

Please drop the hammer mods!
