This setup is exactly what I'm looking for.... flat black housing with chrome projector/fog. Such a clean look. But I have to ask.... if 180 did the strip black, why did you change it back to amber? Doesn't it look better without the amber?

I wanted to avoid excess attention due to the fact that I was boosted. I didn't want to give them another excuse to pull me over for not having amber turn signals.

I still have the painted black strip which I can include.

They will fit, but if your G has AFS headlights, you will have an indication on your dash stating you don't have AFS compatible headlights.

It should not affect the rest of the functions of the headlight.

Yea, I'll try to get one today. I have to take the headlight out of the car and plug it back in. Where are you located?

Interested in these but have a quick question - how do you turn on the LED's? Is there a separate switch or are they activated by turning on the parking lights? Also, what is the expected life for the LED's - seems like replacing them would be diffucult. Sorry for the dumb questions and thanks...

Gregg!

I'll help jumpy answer u since I got nothing to do anyway.

You can wire the LEDs to any source you want. I would wire them to a switch personally because LEDs don't work well with heat. A switch can prolong the life of the LEDs a little longer. It is a pain to get them replaced since everything is internally.
