its prob not the car, its the economic times, alot of people dont have $28k laying around. Thats prob the bigges issue. I wish you were closer or i would have purchased it. But i cant complain i got my 08g37s with 24k for $26,500.00. Best of luck its a sick car and i love the color.

True, but there seems to be no shortage of people with 27K lying around. If you've got 27, you can come up with 28. I've gotten 4 offers for 27; I may just take it if no one else offers. Shoulda taken the 27,500 when I had it offered.

Well, there's your answer...if you had multiple offers for $27K, but none of those guys were willing to go $1K higher, then you just need to be willing to either hold out for your price, or eat the $1K and sell it now. You seem to be slightly above the real world market value of your particular car.

My theory when selling a car is that it is better to bend (up to a point) on the price than to hold out for the highest possible price. Cars continue to depreciate as time passes...so how long are you willing to wait?

Just a reminder, people who offer you the money dont necessarily have the money available. I have 10 people come look at my Acura, all settled on a price and when it came time to pay up they all flaked. I learned my lesson bs walks money talks.

It's not about if they can come up with an extra grand but are they willing. I live in NOVA (Arlington) and for your original asking price + $4-5K you can get a brand new 2010 G37S (no NAV). Most people in this area would rather buy new versus used at that price point.

However, your new sale price I am sure you will be able to sell but how much longer If I were you contact the previous buyers who offered $27K and sell to the first one with the check.

FYI, I sold my '08 G37S 6MT (23K miles,NAV,Prem,Clearbra, etc.) last year but it took 8 months (Mar-Nov) and my car was near perfect(No door dings, no curbed wheels). My starting price was $31.5K which was the lowest G37S at the time. I eventually found a buyer from Detroit to buy it. I really learned why people just trade-in their vehicles

Good Luck!

I'm in that situation where I'm looking to buy a G37S 6MT. I have $28k. I don't have $29k, nor do I really want to spend more than $28k, as it seems that clean cars like yours can be bought at that price point. Your car is a good deal at the price you're asking -- Good luck with your sale.

Car was relisted on Autotrader for $28,950 and have a buyer lined up for next Saturday. That's the new price unless he flakes.

Any thoughts on selling the exhaust? How many miles are on it?

No, I shouldn't have. I have a cash deposit on a full price offer of 28,950, with the remainder to be paid by Saturday when the car is picked up. What I SHOULDN'T have done is post the car on here, where I couldn't even get 27K.

Watching all the similar posts, I have to agree. Not the best place to sell a G37. I think I will just give mine to my son when I am tired of it so I don't have to go through the angst of selling.
