i am quite tempting on the set of D2, but i have a question about the damping adjustment. Based on the picture, the rear damping adjustment is at the top of the strut body? How do you adjust the damping hardness when it is installed on the car? I know tein and BC redesigned it and have their adjustment on the side instead..

Dikka the D2 offer the ability to slam and moderate performance. On good to moderate road surfaces it is a quality coilover. But if you desire performance it is lacking. I never liked either in the performance category Slight nod to the swifts. But in fairness I never nailed down what was a good dampening setting on the D2 either. The kw3 were bought to replace the D2.

tigerlui you are correct on the adjustment being on the top. I bought 2 extenders for the rear to make it easier to adjust. But I got frustrated and impatient with having to take apart again. Plus I have the old man disease. I only want to set and forget.

500 shipped for the D2. They are great for a decent ride and moderate or slammed look. Great price for a $900 coilover. Also comes with extenders which were a $75 addition.
