If anyone has feedback how a 255/40 tire will drive/handle compared to the stock size of 225/45 I would be interested. If I were to purchase these wheels that tire size would keep the diameter exactly the same.

the tires ride amazing. compared to stock im not sure what you mean? do you have the sport coupe? Before this setup i was running the sport coupe enkei wheels with 225/45 in the front and 245/40 in the rear and these tires ride way better. the car hooks great as well. overall ride didnt change drastically but the biggest difference would be whenever you hit bumps, cracks, bridge gaps and things like that.

That is the kind of info I was looking for. For the bumps, cracks and stuff like that, is the ride harsher now compared to stock?

Thanks!

Compared to stock 19s it's better than stock. Lighter steering wheel and softer offer over bumps. I lost 14lbs per corner compared to the 19 inch stock wheels I had. Car feels better and rides better. I enjoy highway drives now

Thanks for the info! I will give these some thought as it would be a great setup for me. Since you no longer need stock wheels in exchange, the price is high for now (also purchasing a set of winter wheels and tires soon). I'll keep an eye on this thread though
