Yes! The install should be the same as the M45 shift ****.

If it's like the M45 as stated, then slight/minor modification is needed. Just need to add a notch on the shaft. Nothing crazy though

This is correct. Super easy. Pull the clip off the oem **** and pull it off and the Maxima **** slides right on and works the same. Then add the notches on the shaft for the clip to lock onto and it's done. However it works the same without the notches but it will slide up if pulled on.
