Just got money for Xmas and it is time for me to upgrade. Pls. someone steal this baby from me.

I bought this at BESTBUY for $500 about 3-4 yrs ago. This is an early 9500IX model. Same internals like the newer model except it does not have the Traffic Sensor Rejection (TSR).

Also, I recommend turning the laser feature off since it is really useless as it detects sensor off my garage and other cars that use laser for blind spot monitor or distance monitor.

I am not sure if Escort Live will work on this unit since I never tried it. Also you need to buy an ESCORT LIVE adapter ($35) to use it and additional Escort Live Subscription. Just use WASE app. for Apple or Android

Database Defender subscription is needed to update the units database. (Redlight camera, speed trap etc.) This is different than Escort Live.

This is great in the city! Very quiet detector at all and it saves me a lot of time!

External finish condition 9/10 a small tiny dent seen on the picture.



Internal is 9/10 " Laser is just getting annoying due to newer cars on the road with laser sensor.... prefer to turn this off..

I am just selling this to get the Escort REDLINE. Why spend $350 for a brand new 9500IX when the only difference with this one vs the new one is the TSR. Traffic sensor rejection.

Actually, my detector does not detect these traffic sensors at all, maybe in your area?
Unfortunately, my Infiniti EX35 parking sensor detects these traffic sensor in few areas here in WI!
